“Why’d the chicken cross the road?”

 “To go inside the monolith.”

A lab-grown chicken nugget gained sentience and powers as a monolith appeared in a small city in Texas called Gothenburg. It, a now fully grown psychic chicken and self- named Chicken Juan Pablo, started wreaking havoc while a strange mist started taking over the city. The remaining Gothenburgers are trying to act normal while chaos ensues.

This is an unfinished setting written for the Liminal Horror Jam 2024. It is a loose reimagination of the Monolith Beyond Time & Space. We intend to keep working on this game and release it fully by 2025.
